SilkWay West Boeing 747
This mighty liner rolled out from the hangar in Everett in 1999. The aircraft deserves respect, with it’s the maximum payload of 125tons. It can bring, let’s say, a lot of useless things that You have ordered from internet shops, at a cruise speed of 900km/h. And yes, we know, that Your 1.3 litre Toyota Yaris, can do better during Christmas season, but still! Sadly, according to the latest news, another company (Atlas Air) has placed an order for additional 4 units of B747-8F, and it will be the last 4 aircraft of this type ever built. Boeing has announced that B747 program is coming to the logical end, demand is not so big as it was back in the period of 1980 till 2000s and production of such massive liner is no longer profitable.
